Khmer and their Ang Khor Wat Qing and their Great Wall Tut and his Pyramids
And the English.. with their BIG PILE OF STONES
My first trip to London proved to me that the average communter in London spends almost 80% of his/her life on the trains and buses than doing anything else.
And since it was my first time in London, i wanted to look at something GRAND... no no, not the crown jewels or the Big Ben for me... I want to see something with splendor and magistical...something like the stonehedge.
So Diana and I met up with Adrian and Ivan. and took the long trip down south - to the magical town of Salisbury, 1.5hrs away from London. This was the damage(In POUNDS)
TOTAL: $43 BLARDY POUNDS! That's like a good S$150 to travel almost 2 hrs to a cold faraway place to see a pile of stones!
But okie lar, I must say at least I've been there, done that. I've been to one of the World's Heritage Site. .... hurray...
It was FREEZING COLD, and us, thinking that since it was the day, it wouldn't be as cold. But... we were literally freezing our toes off!
here are some pics of the marvelous stones
Afterwhich we stayed over at adrian's place at stanford-le-hope? Didn't do much as i was tired to hell, and crashed after a small drink of absinth done in sugar and water.
And thus concluded my London trip. these are some photos that made my trip - you know me and street shots..
